Our Nathaniel has gotten matched with a family. I was so excited to get a letter from his mom with an introduction. The part I really like is his new name is going to be William shortened to Will. Kay was the one who named Nathaniel and her husband's name is Will. I am so glad that there is a connection there. So here is the letter from Nathaniel/Will's family.
My name is Mary Carol McMahan. My husband Kyle and I have been married foralmost 13 years. We have two beautiful children, Griffin, age 10 and Karli, age 14. We are all VERY EXCITED about adding a third child to our family. We have decided to name him William Jun Ming McMahan (Will).
We started the adoption process in February of 2006 and after four months ofpaperwork, received a LID of June 21, 2006. After waiting for about 20months, we decided to consider SN adoption....best decision we ever made!On May 15 (my birthday) we saw An Jun Ming. We all fell in love with hisphoto. We contacted our agency to view his files, but knew in our heartsthat no matter what we learned about this little angel, he belonged in ourfamily and our minds were made up.
The more we learn about our little guy, the more we grow to love him! Weare so gratefull to you and everyone at Starfish for all that you do. Ican't begin to express how amazing it is see photo's of Will from Christmasand Halloween and before his surgery. That means so much to us to be ableto experience what his life was like before we adopt him. And it will meanso much to Will to see what the first two years of his life was like and howthey were spent with so many people to love him.
Thank you for Choosing him that day in September of 2006....we're glad youchoose three!
I will keep in touch and will be reading your blog. I would love to start ablog of my own. It is something I will put on my list of things to dobefore we travel.
Thank so much!
