Chinese New Year....The Year of the Pig

Xin Nian Kuai Le
Gong Xi Fa Cai

It is time for all of China to come to a complete stop and for 1.3 billion people to take a two week break. I have heard of people being on the train for 30 hours standing up so they can be home with their families. Heaven help you if you ever want to get on a train this time of year. A rather amusing story: The sale of adult diapers sky rockets during this time because once you are on the train you cannot move to go to the bathroom because it is so packed. So they have found another solution to the problem. Ingenious.

I wish that I could say that I was as prepared as I was last year with baby pictures of the six on the couch. If you did not see that I will include one. The pictures were just great thanks to Amy from downstairs. Amy and Scott have had another baby, a brother to Molly and Cole and they named him Gabriel, who is currently also on gripe water. I would have to top having a live dog on the couch and this year is a pig year so there is not much chance of that happening. I did have an idea as you can see. Can you spot the pigs?

Love and laughter,
Amanda
