Anthony: An Update from Ohio

Hi Amanda,
We have had a wonderful summer so far, and I hope you are doing the same. As I have read in your newletters, you have become even busier if that is possible!!
We have had Anthony, (Benjamin) for two years!! (adopted May 2008) I can hardly believe we have made it this far. His little heart is operating just fine for him, and he is as active as any other child his age. He is in judo with his brothers 2x weekly, he loves swimming and building and climbing like any boy!! He is awesome and I couldn't imagine my life without him. I was hoping to see you somehow in June, but we have not been able to work out the details. I am keeping my fingers crossed, however, if we are not able, please know you are a part of our converstions and hearts! Anthony calls you Amanda, and "his China" when we refer to any adoption related topics. He has not asked any questions (yet) and is a very happy and healthy boy.
We do have a follow up appt with his cardiologist on July 20, 2010, so I will send you an update at that time. We have not had an appt since Jan 2010, so this is the first time in 6 months that we have not had blood work, appts, tests, I am hopeful that things are working as they should.
Please take care and be safe in your travels!!!
Peace and love,
