Two Adoptions in Three Days

It has been really busy around Starfish. I just have few minutes to write.

We had two children adopted in three days. Rebecca who will be moving to Louisville, Kentucky and then Erica who became Norma Xi'an is going to be living with her family in New Jersey. So that makes it adoption number 17 and 18.

I am afraid I do not have any pictures of Rebecca's new family but you can have a look at her blog at http://hunterhappenings.blogspot.com/ for some updates on their travels.

Here is a picture that Norma's mom took. The emotion of becoming parents for the first time at 47 is amazing and this picture of Patrick and Norma to me is so poignant. He told me that adopting Norma is the hardest thing he has ever done. It is one of my all time favorites shots.

Life, Love and Laughter,

Amanda

Hi Amanda, I live in NJ and would love to be in contact with another Shaanxi baby! My 3 1/2 year old son is from Hanzhong. If Norma's parents are interested, please give them my email if you have any contact with them and if they are interested. I'm sure thier heads are whirling right now.

jonesy4him@comcast.net and for the record, I live in Glassboro which is in south Jersey... they can view my blog by clicking my name above. God Bless!
