Laura Joan: An update

How great it was to hear from Laura Joan's family!!! Laura Joan was our first adoption. I can remember just how nervous we all were. We had no idea what to expect. Luckily it all went well even though she cried. The funny thing about Laura was we had no idea she had a cleft palate, no cleft lip. She went for the adoption medical and when the denstist said that we were all shocked. It is hard to believe that she will be three soon. We celebrated Jojo and Laura's birthday at the same it becuase they are four days apart.

Hi Amanda,

I thought ya'll might like to get an update on Laura Joan with some pictures. This is Chris and Laura Joan with her blanket she loves enjoying a breeze evening. She is very much a daddy's girl. (but she loves mommy too!) Laura Joan has been in a Wednesday night Awana's program at church called the "Puggles", she has loved it and will often say "God made everything" and "God loves Laura Joan and Carson" and so on listing all the people she loves. She is very sweet, she likes to share everything, even her blanket and her thumb. She is very busy all the time touching everything and trying to figure out how everything works. We are still trying to potty train, she is so busy she tries to hold it in alittle to long then runs to the potty but is just alittle to late. She loves to pick out her own clothes and dress herself and is often quite stylish. She loves to sing and she has a little Fisher Price tape player with a microphone she performs with. She will be three, as you know, June 16th. We are going to start swimming lessons (Mommy and Me) at the end of June and we are looking forward to a fun summer playing at the pool and on the lake. May you be filled with God's bountiful blessings as you have so filled us through the gift of Laura Joan.
All Our Love,
Evelyn, Chris, Carson and Laura Joan

Life, Love and Laughter,

Amanda

I love seeing all the updates :) I am working on sending a package to Natalie's foster mom through the orphanage so she'll know she's happy and healthy :)
